Welcome

Hi, I'm Georgina

Hi, I’m a coaching psychologist and I know burnout from the inside out.

When I was on the burnout spectrum I found myself doing things that just didn’t feel like me. Booking hotels for the wrong month and not realising until I turned up on holiday, reading the same email five times and still not processing it, feeling exhausted, cynical and disconnected from the work I once loved. Tasks that once felt manageable became insurmountable, and I lost motivation for activities I used to enjoy.

I wasn’t lazy or broken; I was experiencing burnout, a state where the nervous system is stuck in survival mode, making it difficult to think clearly or even rest effectively. This realisation led me to explore the depths of burnout, its impact on our nervous system, and the path to recovery.

Now, I help high-achieving professionals navigate the journey from burnout to balance, using evidence-based techniques and compassionate support.

Why Work With Me?

Burnout isn’t just about feeling tired; it’s a complex state affecting your entire being. You might be experiencing:

  • Emotional Exhaustion: Feeling drained and unable to cope.

  • Mental challenges: Difficulty concentrating, making decisions, or solving problems.

  • Detachment: Feeling disconnected from your work and/or personal life.

  • Physical Symptoms: Sleep disturbances, headaches, or other stress-related issues.

I understand that burnout stifles your ability to interact, think clearly, and be productive or creative. It’s not something you can simply “think” your way out of.

Through a blend of coaching psychology, using cognitive-behavioural techniques, I help you:

  • Soothe Your Nervous System: Learn to work in harmony with your body’s stress responses.

  • Rebuild Boundaries: Establish healthy limits to protect your well-being.

  • Rediscover Joy: Reconnect with activities and relationships that bring fulfilment.

  • Cultivate Resilience: Develop strategies to prevent future burnout.

You’re not alone in this. Together, we can navigate the path to recovery and rediscover a life filled with clarity, purpose, and balance.

Outside of the coaching room. . .

I love travel, getting off the beaten tourist track in places like Uganda, seeing the wildlife and spending time in nature.

I’m a massive animal lover and destress by walking my dog, Lila, between sessions.

I practice and teach yoga as I believe our world discourages connection from the wisdom of the body, and, for me, yoga helps me reconnect to it.

And most importantly, I believe a dessert is only a dessert if it contains chocolate.
